Aulnay-sous-Bois, a pilot city, has over a hundred vegetated columns installed in squares, at the entrance to pedestrian zones, and in mineralized spaces.
Equipped with lighting and/or cameras, they contribute to greening and securing public spaces.
Since 2016, vegetated columns have made it possible to introduce plants into areas where it was previously impossible. When a space is highly mineralized and the ground is saturated with pipes, sewers, or sanitation networks, it is impossible to plant trees there.
